Martha Tremblay, Assistant Chief Engineer/Assistant General Manager of Los Angeles County Sanitation District. Ms. Tremblay oversees all departments, including Human Resources, Wastewater and Solid Waste Management, Engineering, Financial Management, Facilities Planning, and Technical Services, managing a diverse workforce of approximately 1,700 employees. Tremblay is directly involved in implementing agency policies, procedures, procurement, and budgets, and she is expanding workforce development initiatives and directing the Districts’ Diversity Equity and Inclusion Strategic Action Plan. She holds a Master’s in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from USC and is a registered professional engineer.
